I am a junior member at this club. The staff are friendly but there are a few loudmouths as you get at every course, the clubhouse is a big welcoming clubhouse. The coarse is in good condition for there only being a few greenkeepers but the greens are patchy and inconsistent. The flys in the sommer time will drive you round the bend so you should bring spray.

Played in late March 2009. No temporary tees or greens. Fairway grass kept slightly long to protect the course, otherwise excellent. Helpful and friendly staff, good food/beer at a reasonable price. Very quiet despite a winter green fee of £15 which is unbeatable for a course this good.

Very well maintained scenic course set in the rolling hills of Ayrshire.
Good variety of holes with fast, hard-to-read greens. Fairways are immaculate and very reasonably priced.
Overall, an excellent parkland course with wide fairways and punishing heavy rough - a good test for all levels of golfers.

Lovely parkland course in Ayrshire about 6 miles inland from Girvan. Well kept and usually quiet, but lacks bins & hole details on some of the Tees.

Usually plenty of room on the fairways, but quite a few holes feature water, so plenty to watch out for!

For 2006 its £30 a round weekdays, but 2 for 1 if you have a Greenfee Saver
