What The Club Says
Maybole is a delightful nine-hole 'town' course that offers splendid views of the Carrick Hills. Do not be misled by the overall length (the longest hole is 371-yards). The undulating fairways and small, well-protected greens call for shot making of a high standard.

Cheap and cheerful
I was looking for cheap holiday golf and at £10 for 9 holes this hit the mark. The clubhouse was closed but there is a swimming pool next to it but armed with my booking email just headed to the first tee. The course itself is short but hilly with some blind shots. The tees and fairways were not bad but greens very poor. The views are good. The course would suit someone just starting or on a budget. The one rather amusing part there are holes half way down each fairway with big bucket shaped holes in them. Discovered this is for football golf ????When a guy in his 60's in football kit appeared from nowhere . A bit off putting! All a bit quirky but we had a good laugh .Reviewer Rating

The clubhouse facilities are only open to members however the swimming pool has toilets and showers. There are two driving nets to warm up on, a practice bunker with chipping/pitching area, and a good little putting green to acclimatize to the speed of the greens.
