A great value for money town course. A real test for such a short course, a bit hilly and there are a few blind holes. It was blowing a hooley when I last played it yesterday adding to the test. The signature hole is the short par 3 9th, in my opinion. The rough is punishing, 3 lost balls !

Tidy and testy little course very well presented. From the white tees gave some good length and challenges especially long the seventh

Nice wee course. Very hilly which makes it far more challenging than the distance might suggest (no par 5s to be seen). Grass was a bit long when I played but not surprising given the amount of rain we had had.

Great little town course, very hilly with some blind approaches making club selection and aim very important. This course is always presented in immaculate condition. The 3rd and 6th holes are tricky par 3's, the 6th in particular as it is often into wind and the green is very tight. A great course no matter what your ability, perfect for sharpening up your skills as most shots are either up/down hill or sloped.
The clubhouse facilities are only open to members however the swimming pool has toilets and showers. There are two driving nets to warm up on, a practice bunker with chipping/pitching area, and a good little putting green to acclimatize to the speed of the greens.

Well maintained course with tricky greens. The facilities are basic. A hilly course with some long par fours when the wind is against you.

for a nine hole course it has proper legnth holes and good quality greens, well worth th £6.50 for a quick round!

Beautiful views with some testing holes if the wind is up. well worth a visit if only to get your swing going before hitting the areas more famous tracks.

Cheap and cheerful
I was looking for cheap holiday golf and at £10 for 9 holes this hit the mark. The clubhouse was closed but there is a swimming pool next to it but armed with my booking email just headed to the first tee. The course itself is short but hilly with some blind shots. The tees and fairways were not bad but greens very poor. The views are good. The course would suit someone just starting or on a budget. The one rather amusing part there are holes half way down each fairway with big bucket shaped holes in them. Discovered this is for football golf ????When a guy in his 60's in football kit appeared from nowhere . A bit off putting! All a bit quirky but we had a good laugh .Reviewer Rating
