long challengeing course
course was water logged nearly everywhere, didn't help I played terrible. Enjoyed it better the last time. would like to play it dry and warm conditions. Probably should have been closed.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 117 Handicap: 25.4)

Real Surprise
First time played here and was wonderful. Some really lovely interesting holes and very scenic outlook as its out in country. First nine are pretty much on level but second nine you defo need your climbing gear as its very hilly. but hey. it only ads to the interest.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: )

Excellent Course
Excellent golf course hard but fair. All staff friendly. Driving range is a bonus and a surpriseRecommend for groups and small parties

Has dried out a lot since I last played it. Lovely views and good greens - some holes feel like a slog at times though!

My wife and I played this course several times during our holiday in the area. It is a beautiful, yet demanding course to play. We look forward o playing there again next year.
The staff in the pro shop are extremely friendly and helpful.

Interesting course in good condition it's a long slog on some holes but an enjoyable test

A well kept course in terms of fairways and greens however the yellow tee boxes could be better. A good test of your game especially when the wind picks up.

Amazing course, don't wander off the fairway, unless you are a master at finding your ball or are carrying plenty of them. Made feel very welcome. Course is in beautiful condition.

Lovely course with some elevated Tees and greens. Some very nice part 3's. Quite forgiving off the tee. We had a voucher, don't think I'd pay full price.

Excellent course, lovely clubhouse and staff were very friendly ....Very warm day and our only gripe was that we run out of water half way round! Not often you can say that in Scotland :-)

Quite wet underfoot but it didn't affect my enjoyment,some of the par 4 really do play extremely long particularly uphill and into the wind. Fantastic setting though sitting in a valley, views from very tee

great course greens and tees very good .a few hills back but well worth it . tough par 3s girl in pro shop very helpful and food upstairs good also only 60mins drive from Glasgow well worth the drive

Course is great. Very enjoyable and kept in great condition.
The staff though... unbelievably unhelpful and rude. Girl at front desk and the guy in the shop have zero customer service skills. Buggies were ordered for a 4 ball and they both ran out of charge by the 13th with NO REFUND WHATSOEVER! Two of our party have trouble walking long distances and the buggies were essential but there was no discussion and the attic of the staff was not helpful. Not even an apology for their ineptitude.

Course is I. Great condition, tees, fairways and greens all very nice throughout. front 9 is played on the lower part of the course, back 9 much more hilly, not quite sure why this is, surely swapping them round might make it seem less of a walk up the 11th? Front 9 probably more forgiving, a couple of tighter drives on the back 9 but on the whole the course is very fair.
