A good test of golf and a good 19th hole
Brett Vale improves with age. The course gets better every time I play it. You couldn't improve the welcome you get in the pro shop and the bar. It is always a pleasure to play there.Reviewer Rating

Interesting and varied terrain.
I played the course with very friendly club members Andrew and David. I enjoyed it very much, and found much more height variation around the course than is usual in this part of the world. Every hole is different, and there is water, sand, and mature trees to add to the challenge. It is a pretty course, with some wonderful elevated tees. My only slight criticism concerns the greens, with quite a noticeable up and down movement of the ball during its roll. Despite this the greens are true, but I did not quite get the hang of them! The grass on the fairways was slightly longer than expected, but my fairway woods worked pretty well, so perhaps a bit more grass under the ball is helpful rather than otherwise. This could become my local course, having just moved into the area, and I think I could really learn to like it.
