Played on a saturday on a two for one voucher, which was £35 so we paid £17.50 each, the greens were shocking, full of pitchmarks etc, we were told they hadnt been cut for 3 weeks by a local, I have played on better fairways then these greens.
The other bad thing is the fair ground right by the course constant noise, people screaming etc etc
Wont be going back !!

First time to play, lots of water, keeps you on your toes, makes you think. Enjoyed my game, glad I played with some9ne who knew the way around & gave me a few tips

Course extremely wet and boggy in places. A Trolley ban would help in this inclement weather. We followed several groups of members and found virtually on every green newly created pitch marks. Not a fine example to set!!
Given the bad weather at least the greens (despite pitch marks) played true and straight.

Great potential and certainly the club is active in improving the position.
We were easily deceived into thinking it was an easy straight forward course, it is not and presents an interesting challenge. Keep up the good work and do try this course out!

Breezy lots of traps within driving distance rather annoying when you hit a great drive and it gets eaten by hidden reans

Not a bad little course. Very short in distance but there are enough hazards to make it a real test especially if the wind is up. Greens were pretty good in the main apart from one or two that were shocking. Very friendly locals and pro shop were also very helpful.

I'm a newcomer to Golf so looked for a club close to home that wouldn't be too stuffy. This was perfect and the help from the club shop was brilliant. On the day I played this course, there was a little breeze and after 6 holes two older members offered to let me join them.
Plenty of wide fairways allowed for me to be slightly less than accurate with my driving but there's plenty of time to improve.

I've lived in the area for nearly 20 years and never played this course. Played today and it appears to be much more well maintained than previous reviews imply. Green keepers everywhere watering and mowing which was a little irritating but they were obliging and let us play through. New back 9 wasn't on our GPS so update needed to that! Nice wide fairways which mostly forgive the slice although watch out for the rhynes (water filled ditches) which you have to cross back and forth and are at various tee distances each hole. Much more enjoyable course than expected for a holiday park. Clubhouse a little more like a locals bar but friendly enough.

Decent fairways and mostly decent greens apart from about 3 holes which have recently been remodelled.
Not very picturesque and very back and forth.
Looks like they have put a lot of work in lately. Very friendly locals. Would go back.

The course is being extended and a new club house to be built which will improve the overall facilities they have started laying out the new holes which look exciting. Did not notice a date for completion.

Testing course for any level
It may be a short course but the holes are challenging with plenty of hazards to catch you out.Well worth a visit and has the bonus of a nice club house

Revisiting an old friend
I used to be a member at Brean, about 10 years ago and returned to see how the club had changed following the construction of the new country club facilities and restaurant.It was absolutely gorgeous day and the course was in great condition but still having some work done around the greens.
I would expect this course to be quite straight forward for a mid to low handicapper, but for a high handicapper like myself, it provided a few notable challenges,
I will definitely return in the summer for a round or two.

Very good golf course not long but plenty of water through the fairways and small lakes positioned round the course, greens had been treated so can't really give a opinion only they was not flat with 2 tiers so in the summer they will be very tricky, it has a lovely clubhouse overlooking the course.Reviewer Rating
