Nice cheap course for an after work practice round. £10.50 per round. Not too long so quick to play. Greens could do with a good mow but it has been very wet so that's understandable.

good municipal
good local course to play and cheap....very local to me so i play regular and not much wrong with this place really...cafe and shop are very welcoming as always.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 28)

For a council run course it is well kept and has a good lay out.. nice cafe and pub on site.

Pleasantly surprised
Having been a member of this club 20 years ago, this was the first time I'd played the course since then. Everything about the course was so much better than I remembered. The greens, landscaped fairways and the ease of getting a tee time that suited us made it a very pleasurable round of golf. If this course was private there would be a waiting list for membership.Reviewer Rating

great course for the price, shame some of the greens are cut up in areas, but this is a municipal course so its to be expected

Played the seniors open. Course is in good condition considering the tropical weather we have been having. Greens were slowish but true. hospitality was fantastic

Cheap council owned course in nice condition. Twilight rate is good value for 18 holes of practice after work.

Not a fan of playing off the mats, otherwise course was in good condition although the greens were a bit bumpy

Played the course in January which made the course wet and as in many Park land courses loads of leaves at this time of year but the greens were in great condition

considering the time of year and the weather we have had the course played pretty well. The drainage problems of past years seem to be improving. Attention to high cups on the green would help as it is very frustrating when a good putt runs away within 1 or 2 inches of the hole.
