What the club says: Whether it is a simple quest for personal improvement or a mission to beat all-comers, the undulating 5746 yard 18 hole parkland course at Halesowen should bring out the best in you. The holes represent a fascinating and varied challenge throughout the year.
You will, almost certainly, be inspired by the wonderful vistas which include mature woodland with majestic trees adding to the course's timeless character. Streams, pools and pathways punctuate panoramic views of the idyllic Worcestershire countryside.
The 460 yard par-4, 5th represents a very worthy signature hole and allows time enough to admire the views and construct a story for dropping behind. With no shortage of long par 4's it could be time well spent!

Beautiful but challenging course
Lovely course to look at but very, very, tricky to play. Lots of angles and hills makes play challenging and, depending on your age, quite exhausting. Maybe recommend a buggy.Very good value for money when we played there. Friendly staff and great clubhouse bar.Reviewer Rating

Beautiful course, hard going in parts
It's a lovely course and very challenging. Very hilly and you'll find parts of the back 9 hard going. This time we chose a buggy at a reasonable cost which took the strain and allowed us to play a better game of golf. I do like the course, but usually struggle to complete. In fact the last four holes are actually quite gentle, so it's worth finishing.Reviewer Rating

Hilly but still fun
A good course, slightly hilly, so not for the faint hearted and tight fairways with some crossover, but still fun nonetheless. The condition of everything was good, nice greens and tee boxes.Reviewer Rating

Great Course. Not an easy walk though.
Having just played this, my first thoughts were wow, this is a difficult course. However, once I had played it I really really enjoyed it. Its not for the faint hearted if you dont like your holes up and down. Quite a few holes that criss cross so beware of golfers either side of you on several holes. Quite a few holes where you are hitting blind, however with a member he was giving me advice on areas to aim for and NOT to in my case. lol . Overall a superb course and thoroughly recommended.Reviewer Rating

Hilly short parkland course
It's relatively short, but not an easy golf course. Some of the holes are very tight. It's also very hilly, which can be bit tiring, especially in hotter weather. I'd recomend golf trolley. Fairways were nicely cut, greens good quality. Two pars 3 15&16 are a bit letdown, seem to be detached from golf course. Main issue are joint/crossing fairways. I played in the middle of week, so it was fine, but can imagine it's a problem when course is full of people. Clubhouse good, with decent bar. Overall good golf course, will play again.Reviewer Rating

Good course, hectic if it's busy though with course layout
Club house is a little dated but the facilities aren't too bad and the beer in the bar is good which is the main thing. Course in decent condition and a nice variety of holes with more hills than you may expect! Layout is the main issue as a few holes overlap or you're teeing off over or near to greens on other holes so when it's busy it must be a bit of a nightmare. Quiet in the week though and good value for money. Worth a visit.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 103 Handicap: 26.7)

Challenging and fairly hilly course
Some long par 4 holes and good challenges. Can be a bit repetitive around the hilly mid holes, but great condition.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 86 Handicap: 19.7)
