What the club says: Harborne is a delightful parkland course that was founded in 1893. It is just 3 miles South West of Birmingham City Centre and less than 5 miles from either junction 2 or junction 3 of the M5.

A 6210 yard course and a par 70, whose landscape offers a challenge to both high and low handicap golfers. Visitors, members and prospective members are all welcome.

Lovely course, fast greens

Lovely course to play, not too hilly, challenging greens which would be much trickier in dry conditions.

Absolute gem of a course in the heart of Harborne Village. Tricky up and downs with no forgiveness of a slice!

Harborne Golf

Harborne Golf Club has a rolling sometimes hilly feel to it which makes the course a challenge in all conditions. Its not very long but all the holes have challenges due to placing of the bunkers and the risk of trees and a stream that flows across 6 of the holes. Hole 7 is stroke index 1 but is reachable. The other tricky holes in my view are the 2nd,5th,6th,11th,13th,14th,17th and 18th. The 6th, 14th and 18th are par threes that demand an excellent tee shot to reach the green. The other holes are longish par 4's with the stream crossing.

Best in Brum??

Wow, what a wonderful golf course. Of all the courses in the greater Birmingham area I think this has to be my favourite. No two holes the same, lovely undulating fairways which means you rarely get a flat lie. Another great Harry Colt layout and greens in fabulous condition. Why does it have such a low profile when it's way better than the likes of Edgbaston, Blackwell, Moseley or anywhere within 30 miles! Hardly anybody playing too.....!

Pairs open ?20 bargain with plenty of prizes.

Good warm up facilities, chipping area and indoor net near changing rooms, putting green was quick, greens only slightly slower :-)

Rained for 11 holes and course held up well, love the design and layout.

One downside, you support the club through these events yet you get charged guest beer prices?? ?4 a pint probably not bother next time. Was going to eat but felt uneasy after that.

Great day out all the same, always a friendly club - 62 took the nett price and 65 the gross

Lovely course, feels like Moseley and Hollywood courses. Excellent holes, nice use of elevation and in wonderful condition considering the time of year. Feels like you are in the countryside rather than a few miles from Birmingham. Thought it might be a bit snooty being in Harborne but the staff and members were so friendly.
