A very enjoyable course for most level of player. Very low handicaps may find it slightly easy

A public course that is in very good condition. Some great holes that are anything but flat, BUT very enjoyable. The 9th is a great par 3 and would have to say one of the best par 3s I have ever seen. Give it a try and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

AFTER THE RECENT BAD WEATHER IT WAS A JOY TO GET OUT AND PLAY A ROUND, THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH ALL THINGS CONSIDERED WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF TEMP GREENS IN PLAY

Course was in good condition when I played there, with not many players on the course. I had a great front 9 (42) and thought I was on for a best round ever score. However, the back 9 bought me back to earth with a bump with a nightmare 62. I still enjoyed the course, though, and will return as I've a score to settle with the back 9.

This is first time we have played on this course, we are enthusiastic beginners, we found the course to clean and tidy the greens and fairways seemed to be well looked after, we will not mention the weather I would only swear enough said, the staff were friendly and gave us a few tips, we really enjoyed the day and we will be going back.

Played this course whilst on a weekend away and of the 4 courses we played this was my favourite. It does however have a major let down in that it is not in the best of areas and I guess this maybe the reason the flag poles are of poor quality and the rakes are non existent. Being a council course they do also allow players to wear jeans and football shirts. If you can get over the downsides then you will be in for a pleasant game of golf. The course was in very good condition the greens played very well. There are some excellent views to be had on some of the higher points and there was 3 or 4 holes that looked fantastic. As with the other council courses I played in this area the club house is not much to write about but I would fully recommend the café that is attached to it as it offers a good cheap breakfast.

The course is good, upkeep is tidy too. Could do with bins on each hole for the cans of lager that have been scattered about. Another draw back is the amount of dog walkers. But all on all suitably impressed as this course has matured well. Enjoyed the round too.

A nice course to play in the nicer weather, if the weather has been not so good it is prone to flooding in places. A good long uphill par 5 to get your swing going. All in all this is one of the better council courses at a good price. And a nice pint in the 19th hole.
