Forest Course
Played the Forest course as part of an overnight stay at The Bell Inn. This heritage course is an absolute must play. Charming, rustic and wild, it is impossible not to enjoy play golf the same way as it was played 150 years agoReviewer Rating

Beautiful natural course
Whilst on holiday in the New Forest we chose to play the Forest course as it sounded interesting, being the oldest course in Hampshire. We were not disappointed. The course does not look overly manicured but is in excellent playing condition. The meandering brook was a regularly returning hazard being of course very important as a welcome water supply for the ponies and pigs living on the course. We will definitely return for more golf at this course next year. In arranging (and re arranging because of wet forecast) the staff were most helpful.
Thank you Bramshaw GC!

Fantastic course - unbelievable value
What a great course! Hadn't played the Forest Course in two decades. It's glorious. Great greens. And £22 a head - a steal! Far less than I pay on most municipal courses.Reviewer Rating

Excellent day all round. This is the first time our society (once monthly golf society) have played the Manor Course. And it really didnt disappoint. From booking the event to playing the event. Everything was so efficient. The value for money of what we got was fantastic. A great priced package including fantastic food after the event. The staff were amazing and catered for all are needs. Once again we all could not knock anything about the day and event. Thankyou Bramshaw.
Definitely will be booking many more society days here
Thanks

Interesting and different golf experience
The course is set out on the natural New Forest land. There are no bunkers but there are a variety of other natural hazards including a stream meandering through several areas of the course. The greens were in very good condition and a number of the holes have elevation changes which is great when striking your approach shots from 100-150yds out. Have played course with friends a few times now. All guests enjoy the course experience. Staff in Pro shop, Clubhouse and Course Marshals are always friendly and pleased to assist. Always an enjoyable visit even if golf game is slightly off .(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 94 Handicap: 23.9)

Great Course!
The Forest Course at Bramshaw is the oldest course in the UK. Set on New Forest land, the course is a bit wild, but is still in excellent condition. The Greens, despite the possibility of wild animal traffic, are in great condition, which are million times better than my local municipal course.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 77 Handicap: )
