Have played this course a few times now . Every time we play it is a very enjoyable day .
All staff members are very friendly and helpful,
On my last visit , spoke with the chairman briefly in the car park , who also came across as a very friendly person.
Look forward to playing there again soon ??????????

I am a twilight member. The membership value is fantastic value. The course may be regarded by others as ?not the longest? or ?not the most challenging?. This may be true for a very low handicap golfer but believe me there are holes you can under estimate at your peril. Golfers from other clubs or societies walked off the 18 th thinking that was a lot harder than the scorecard would lead you to believe. The course has a couple of drivable par 4s but it also has a couple of 200 yard plus par 3s. The greens for a forest course are outstanding considering the animals that roam the course. Me and my playing partners love the wildlife as you are enjoying your round of golf and also the fact that you are surrounded by the forest itself. The fairways are more than adequate all year round and we played 17/1/25 and encountered no temporary greens and very acceptable playing conditions which is a credit to the green keepers and the club staff. The facilities are great. You can have a practice on the GRASS range located as you enter the forest which is free because you use your own balls. There is a putting green and a chipping area. Also there is a practice bay located next to the 1st tee box which is great to help you to start your round. The clubhouse staff are all fantastic and very friendly. The food is excellent and the Cruzcampo after 18 is the best. We all really appreciate the hard work of everyone at the club and we never ever get bored of playing here every weekend without fail (apart from Xmas period). If in doubt please give this course a go and we would recommend it for societies. Before we become members we loved coming here for a game with the society as it ticked all the boxes

Great for the higher handicap

Plenty of room on these very wide fairways kept in condition by the wild animals grazing. Greens were a bit slow and bumpy.

Good course conditions for November2021
Friendly and Hospital people, well maintain greens, great surroundings and views good wildlife, with free roaming horses. What more do what from a day out playing golf in New Forest and being out in the fresh air.
Thanks for the reciprocal from Crane Valley Golf Club.

Great day, and the course was in great condition. The greens were true in most cases with the horses as company but not hindering our play.
Friendly club and 19th.

Beautiful open course. Long open fairways. Uses horses and cows to cut the grass, so some interesting holes with extra obstacles that you may not find elsewhere.

Enjoyed the course. Great fairways and greens with New Forest ponies in abundance. A few temporary green were in play due to recent heavy rain. Whilst there was some standing water it did not cause a problem.
