what a waste of money,greens horrible,played better greens at council pitch and putt as a kid,,stripped and full of sand,not even smothed out,greens like putting in bunkers,couldnt putt straight due to deep grooves and sand,shame on you for not warning us beforehand,would have played somewhere else,blew £35

ALthough we played this in January the greens were a disgrace with hardly any grass on them at all- with clumps of completely bare mud patches.

Too difficult for medium handicappers. Bunkers unfairly placed in front of almost all greens and both sides of almost every drive. Course management of typical hotel course - over booked resulting in 5hrs round!

I know it was early in the season but some of the greens were in a poor condition. that said it is set in lovely surroundings and worthy of a visit.

Excellent condition unless wet
Have played three times. Tough course but really enjoyable and amazing condition. One round was very boggy (spring), don't think the course drains well so play in summer.Reviewer Rating

Played here with a friend whilst staying at the hotel. Course in good condition given the recent dry weather. Greens were true and rolled well. Some of the rough had been cut back since I'd played at a similar time last year which was helpful. Mask required in the pro shop which was also one way, both of which were no problem, though shame you couldn't look round. Friendly welcome and nice food and pint in golf bar post round. £50 for the round was reasonable.
