bang on course. very challenging. loads to keep you on the ball, never seen so many bunkers, but kept out of most of them, I played rubbish but enjoyed it, not a high scoring course. signature hole hot to be 11th or 12th.. defo on it again. worth the trip from nottm

Very hard course to play with tight fairways and loads of bunkers. The greens were in perfect condition and played fast even with a downpour the previous day.

Very good core, a little difficult due to lots of bunkers and water but nice corse

The course played fantastically well, especially considering some of the poor weather we have had. Played off full tees and greens. Fairways still nice and firm under foot, and looking great. Brilliant value for money at one of few courses that holds up so well in winter. Lots of tight landing areas off the tee and lots of punishing trees along the fairways if you stray from them. Bunkers very much in play on most holes with the added extra of water which adds to the whole feel of the course on a few holes here and there. All in all, a great day at a great course.

Found the course challenging but fair. Some holes really do make you think about how they have to be approached and course management is as essential as a fairly straight drive. On some holes i.e. the 10th and 18th, even more so due to the water hazards that protect the greens. Plenty of strategically placed bunkers will also catch out a poorly hit shot. Fairways were in good condition and the greens were true. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable round of golf. Played 16th September 2014. Score: 95. Handicap: 25.2

Brilliant and challenging course, excellent condition greens and fairways . 17 quid for a round weekdays, you will not find better for the money. I have played worse courses at over 40 pound.

Great parkland course offering a little different golf from what is around.
Really friendly lady in the pro shop, which is a refreshing change. Shot saver money goes to Junior team, a nice touch. I had heard it was 'really tough' with 'loads of bunkers'....Not really...very Spanish type course, bunkers to catch those who don't think off the tee, and protected greens that require a 100yards and in club work, greens are true to each other, not a mixed bag like I have experienced of late. Lovely day out.

Such a difficult test of golf and patience :P but a really nice course in great condition and very well looked after. Well done to all the groundsman .
