Poor conditions after heavy frost and to be fair the course wasn't in bad nick. Good par 3s but a lot of forgettable holes. Imagine it'd be nicer in summer though. Friendly in pro shop and for £20 can't complain really

Played over Christmas 2011. Course played well given the amount of rain recently. Fairways and Greens were well presented. I found the course is a fair challenge off yellows (having never played it before) but I imagine it's a very good test off whites. Some well designed holes and some shot-shaping required but otherwise a fairly standard park course.

We played it on a 2 for 1 ticket on a Thursday. They insisted that the Weekday Green Fee was £40 so it was £20 each - despite taking a print of this page showing £30 each. Were very disparaging about this website! Way out of date they said. Not a friendly reception, as it says on a sign at the entrance to the club. £15 only on a Monday - all day ticket would be good value. Certainly nowhere near a £40 per round course. Not very well manicured; many dry brown patches; not impressed by the greens. Every other club at this time of year has almost perfect greens, but these were scabby. In fact the course was best described as scabby. Excellent clubhouse facilities though. Oh yes and great views of the M25 !! Wouldn't go back.

Parkland course with some water. Quite entertaining but not necessarily worth the £25 a round 2-for-1 rate that we paid at a weekend. Shot 37 points with two blobs off 24 so can't dislike it that much! The first cut off the fairways were pretty muddy but have played it in the Summer when you get plenty of roll due to the height of some of the tees. Would play again.

Sticky clawing mud

Not as bad as the title suggests but quite a bit of mud around. Balls get dirty after every shot. Greens, patchy but mostly true. Quite slow.

Been some time - Still tricky

Overnight rain made conditions interesting especially as it drizzled as we played the closing 4 holes. Course was in relatively good nick but it was that kind of gmae when the grass was patchy but damp and there was no eveness on the fairways. Green were ok but a few too many geese droppings or casts (only to be expected after rain) Nemesis tee shot got me again. 16th played a 3wood for safety...went up and lost!

Played here as part of The Social Golfer annual comp, my first ever comp. Great day though very hot, and as its a longer course I was knackered at the end. As a high HCP player it was challenging enough for me, due to the heat I was tires for the last 4 holes which are up hill and down dale. Nice little shop good bar and halfway house. Will go back and play again without a doubt.
