A well maintained course which makes you think about shot placement. It's not about taking a wood off the tee, smahing it down the fairway

Great Course and in great condition after the rainy weather of late. i am looking at playing again very soon and would say if your local to Warrington and not played it yet "WHY NOT"????

The course and greens are good for this time of year

i love playing this course its Changeling but enjoyable.
club house and its facilities are great, lovley food and a warm welcome from the staff.

Lovely course with some really interesting and challenging holes. when we played on a weekend we didnt have to wait long on a weekend.
the 19th is a friendly and welcoming, the food is nice try the sweet chilli chicken wrap. and all food was reasonable priced.
It is the best in the area and worth travelling to.

Played here twice over the last 4 days and what a course, i was a member of a course 7 yrs ago and vowed never to become a 1 course golfer but i must say that this is certainly a big temptation, everything about the place from the friendly club captain who entertain our party for some 20 mins today!! The Par 5 11th is something to be hold a 3 shot par 5 if ever i have seen one! This course is a pleasure what ever the conditions having hit a respectable 88 on the calm day and a hard working 99 in todays gale force winds!!

superb course

Superb condition
Not played here for many years but was hugely impressed with condition for time of year. Greens superb fast and true, tees areas nice and the fairways although being recently spiked were fine. The layout is challenging and ditches and water will swallow many a ball. ?20 green fee on golf now is an absolute bargain. Will return very soon.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course but very challenging
I play off of 19, right-hander with a natural fade and this course is the most difficult I've ever played (even more so than Royal Birkdale).I drive on average 260, but where my drive carries too Birchwood have ditches and bunkers throughout the course. If you try to go for it and clear these hazards and the fade kicks in, then the trees/motorway on the right-hand side take your ball. In hingsight, I should have layed up more and attempted bigger second shots, but thoroughly enjoyed the challenge - will be back!

Great course. Even though it was wet it is in a great condition.
The bar was welcoming and friendly will play again.

Excellent challenge, really have to think about your game and plot your way around the course . Very enjoyable round of golf and the course and greens are in great condition. Well worth a visit
