Firstly I am not a member here but if I lived closer I certainly would be a member of this club.The green staff are always working on the course they do an amazing job.
The course is tree lined with hazards lying in wait for the errant tee shot or even a long tee shot with small tricky greens you have to be on your game

played on the 11th Oct as always green staff out working on the course we chat to the head Green keeper a lot and say to him that we can't understand why the course isn't heaving yes it's a par 69 yes it's not long yes they have small greens yes it's tree lined but if you miss the fairway you only have one shot that's out of the trees onto the fairway, it's a challenging course all round beware thee ditches as well

Cannot understand those who are complaining about the course, it's a lovely and in places tricky narrow tree lined nightmare if you don't hit straight and true. Greens are well kept and the first and last hole are a real pleasure. I suspect those who say it's a average course spent most of the time in the well established tree line rough. Can really improve your game and all for a fiver.

Not a long course lots of ditches and ponds and very tree lined if you are the wrong side of the fairway invariably you don't have a shot to the green whish are small and evenly paced, one thing that needs to be upgraded are the bunkers which they are doing the ground staff are superbReviewer Rating

Played Belhus today 23/5/23. Course is in superb condition, a tribute to the hard work of the green keeper and staff. Greens were immaculate. Do yourself a favour and get down there and play it while it’s in superb condition.

Not a long course but tree lined with ditches and a pond that can catch you out small greens with subtle little borrows you have to think your way round and at ?25 each for 18 holes in a buggy is exceptional value a breakfast is ?7 which is very goodReviewer Rating

gentle tight woods
The early holes demand straight drives between rows of trees. The back 9 is a bit more open.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 109 Handicap: 32.9)

Greens are very good, and the course is a good challenge for any standard of golfer, some tight driving holes, but hit it well and you can score well, although the greens can be tricky, definitely worth a look.
