Always enjoy it at Barnehurst. Needs a bit of tidying up, greens are improving. Someone has stolen the sand from bunkers. Tee areas poor. For the price I am happy others probably won't be.Reviewer Rating

Ok course - value for money
Tight course makes it difficult to play. Course is in a fairly ok condition considering how cheap it is to play there. Definately a course to warm up on before going somewhere nice.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: )

Don't pay full price
Whatever you do don't book direct! Use teeofftimes of one of the other deal websites, as this course is definitely not worth the full price. The greens are okay but some of the fairways are not great, and there is just an overall feeling of staff not caring in the clubhouse or on the course. Although they have a dress code not many people seem to bother as we saw track suit bottoms, jeans and trainers on the course. What was particularly bothersome when we last played there was no soap in any of the toilets ... and a four ball of members wouldn't let us play through as a two ball but play is disastrously slow each time we've played here and no sign of a marshall. Winter rules so playing off uneven slippery mats, and there is a "pond" at the bottom of 9/18 which hasn't seen water for some time so you can see the ripped up base layers at the bottom (its about a foot deep). Its a relaxed club but unfortunately its just become very very scruffy - if you can get a round for £9 or £10 its fine but do not pay full price.Reviewer Rating

As with most My Time courses, the green were in very good condition - as were some of the fairways. Some of the holes are interesting and challenging.
But - the place is a "a bit frayed round the edges" and could do with some TLC.
I appreciate that this visit was during a wet winter.

We tried this course as it is one of the courses on a golf package we are looking at. The course layout is confusing (unless you've played there before, which my golf buddy had). There were young players just hopping between holes and playing multiple balls each, which upset our round and the round behind us. These players were not observing good etiquette and just hitting balls which on occasions landed just behind us as we were about to take our shots to the green. There was no marshall or anyone monitoring play
