I play at Barnhurst every week and the best description I can give is it not for players with big hooks or slices in their game. The first hole is a par 3 of 188 yds with a very narrow fairway that slopes away both sides. If you wanted to improve your accuracy this would be a good place to play.
Its only a nine hole course but what a challenge Beautiful greens thanks to an excellent green keeper.

A lovely little course in a very built up area. Its not the most difficult of courses but I enjoyed it very much and found the members and staff very friendly.

A short 9 hole course with a handful of tricky holes. Tee boxes a bit scrappy but otherwise, not bad condition. Friendly staff.

Urban golf
Squeezed into south London - but not too many dog walkers to negotiate - some very tight par threes calling for pinpoint accuracy but a few hoes where you can really go for it with the driver too. Busy, but not too busy. Friendly pro shop and members.

lack of rain has caused the course to look parched and brown in places , greens are very good though , fairways very dry but balls run and run......

best round ever today , a lot to do with the weather being a mild day and not icy and cold on the hands , course a bit muddy in places but to be expected , greens in great condition as usual...well done the green keepers .

still a member , only £50.00 per month for 5 day unlimited play , great if you have lot of spare time , greens are excellent , only downside is a lot of leaves on course and easy to lose balls

Am a member now and play as often as possible , greens are superb
and well looked after , Very easy to lose balls if not a straight hitter because of leaves ,and the long wispy stuff lining most fairways , so take plenty of extra balls...great 9 hole course..........Round played: Jul 2016 - Score: 84 Handicap: 21.6)

One of the local course to where I live. Always enjoyable, despite having only 9 holes. A range of different holes to keep it interesting. Recommend if you are looking to play a quick round after work.
