Lovely course, friendly members, good pro and well stocked pro-shop but extremely rude old man who drives around the course in a buggy checking if you are members or you have paid. Drove up to us this evening just as I was about to tee off on a hole and basically three us off the course as my mate had light grey socks on with tailored shorts. He huffed and puffed and grumbled about socks having to be white. Refused to let us play and pay in the bar after our round as the pro-shop was closed on arrival and then despite having the round price on a text from the pro the staff in the bar refused to let us play for that and insisted we should pay more.... even though the thoroughly pleasant pro was okay with us paying after our round!!

Enjoy playing here, but course was quite wet today some temporary tees. Food and drink is ok, quite a friendly club, chat with members. Grass was too long in places difficulty finding balls just off the fairways.

Good course. You have to think before teeing off on a number of holes. Big hitters could easily run out of room especially on some of the holes on the front 9.
I will play Barlaston again for sure

Good to be back, a tight course in places, a little run on the fairways even though wet.
Greens were very good , cut short but true.
No food available in 19th, downside.

Another wee gem of a course in the midlands and great value for money with some interesting holes would definitely play again when in the area.

Very enjoyable round, having returned after four years. Some of the greens had bare patches in places but the course has some great holes. We will return when the kitchen refurbishment is complete.

nice course, not a big hitters course but good target golf and excellent greens, club is very stuffy and set in old ways which is a shame as if it modernised its attitude towards new players it could be a very freindly club
