Today I came out and played this course, it's obvious from the first look that this course is going through some changes at the moment as it had gone into receivership, and after several weeks nothing was done to the course and was left to get very overgrown. The new owners have been working tirelessly in trying to get the course back up to standard and are doing a very good job. All of the course is a work in progress and I'm sure it will back to a very good standard soon. Only 9 holes were open today and the back 9 should be open this weekend. I enjoyed my round as I found it challenging on a number of holes, the greens are still a bit patchy but they are in an ok condition.
I would recommend this course to anyone.

Having played Issak Walton on Sunday 19th March with some friends, I have to say how very disappointed I was. The grass on the tee off was long all over and lumpy. The fairway was not much different to the ruff in places and the greens were awful, they were patchy, lumpy and I feel uncared for. The price of £12.50 was extortionate for such a poor coarse of 9 holes. I will not be playing there again.

The greens at izaak were so slow you had lo hit the ball relay hard they needed a cut don't think they had been cut for days

The course appears to be undergoing some improvements, but these did not detract from our enjoyment. Very sociable and friendly. would definately recommend this to anyone.

Enjoyable round. A few improvements to the course and it could be very good. Some challenging holes with a good layout, flows very nicely.

Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the layout, undulation of terrain, and upkeep levels of fairways and greens for a farmland course. it was also the only course in the vicinity that allowed visitors weekend AM tee times. Enjoyed it, and everyone there was very friendly.

Superb course. Open more on the front nine with some great dog leg holes. the back nine is tight but some fantastic holes. hard but not that hard that you cannot score. Highly recommend anyone to play this for the first time.

Nice course. But a lot of GUR and the greens not good. Played ok but when we got back to the club house it was closed. It was only 6 30. . The greens need lots of attention as putting almost impossible.

Played 1st March 2014 course in reasonable condition. Winter mats and one temporary green. Fairways soft. Enjoyed the course ditches and water on the back nine and more sloping lies made it more taxing. Club house good facilities and prices for food with very friendly staff and members.

Played on 12/09/2013. Never played there before and was really impressed with the course. The greens were in excellent condition - fast and true. Fairways were good - could hit woods off them. Only real criticism was the state of a few tees - lacked a little grass. Will definitely return.

went on a society day from work'booked with Breakfast and meal, Breakfast was 45 mins late meanin a 10am start got pushed back to 10.45pm, the course isnt bad the fairways in general are tight, greens are small ( to small in some cases) and bunkers unbelievably shallow, all in all the course is ok but wont be rushing back as there are are better value for money in the area

We played there last week and the course has come on in leaps and bounds since the last time we played (around 7 years ago). I think in another 5-10 years this course could be one of the premier tracks in the area, providing they finally get the proper clubhouse it deserves!
Food was also excellent again and we had a warm welcome from all the members we saw in the clubhouse. I would thoroughly recommend this course and we will be going back in the near future.

The course was in great condition, and the greens were in true fast and very good.

Suberb course, the greens are in especially good condition and are extremely quick. A pleasure to play and for £12.50 mid week vistor price is unbeatable value for money.

Dreadful. The course has not see na mower for some time. The fairways were not cut to such an extent that it was more like semi rough! The club also failed to inform us that there was a compettion starting at the 10th teefrom 5pm (we teed of at 4). This basically halted our round.

This course is worth a visit and has a number of excellent holes especially on the back 9. Condition wasn't great probably due to recent heavy rain but playable, Greens were ok but generally tiny. Shallowest bunkers I have ever seen consistently on a course. Clubhouse and facilities were very average but staff were welcoming. If you haven't played there give it a go , good value for money
