Nice open course, but a really awkward layout
Nice open course, but a really awkward layout. There are lots of holes crossing over each other, internal out of bounds areas to force you in a certain direction and points where you need to send a scout/lookout 75 yards ahead to see if you can tee off (there's signs that state this).It feels like there should be a way to make the layout a lot less awkward and allow the course/play to flow (cause its got lots of space) and if that was done then it could be a 9 out of 10

Great day weather good and had good company on the course. Course standard has dropped but does look like they are redesigning course for the future

Seen the tees and greens in better condition than today to be honest. Decent condition overall but the greens had loads of pitchmarks on them. Tees were pretty bare too

Course was in good condition although the rough was a bit too long. Bunkers needed more sand as they were a bit hard to play out of.

The course is well kept through out with good facilities and friendly staff. My bad point would be that there are a few cross overs and hikes to the next tees, gets a little annoying.

Very good value in the low season. The course is better than many others I've played, and for half the price. Facilities are very good, both the pro shop and driving range.

ballumbie is a relatively new course but is now starting to mature. it is a testing course with a lot of
dog legs and out of bounds. holes 2,3,4&5 anything
leacked right is ob.
it doesnt have many long par 4s which suits us short hitters.
it is set out in three parts, pay particular attention
when finishing the 9th or you`ll end up on the 17th tee. thats my only fault with the course is the walk
from 9 to 10 and 16 to17

Ballumbie first time
Lovely course, lot more difficult than first glance, very tough ground conditions, rock hard greens but in fantastic condition. Would definitely like to play here again.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 104 Handicap: 20.5)
