Great Sussex course

I played on a very hot day, perfect conditions and the course was in fantastic shape. The front nine is a Par 37 and was quite tough. Really enjoyed it.

Like two different Courses

Avisford is a great course in two different settings? The first 9 holes are like a pretty parkland course a hilly downland course. Both sides challenging where accuracy is key. Good course management will really help keep your score down.

Lovely course

Well two lovely 9 holes really. First nine is like playing through an English Country Garden (which I assume it was at some point in the past. Really pretty and a good challenge. Second nine is much more open and mostly played along the valley so lots of slopping fairways.
Very warm and relaxed welcome in the clubhouse and some excellent home made snacks available.

Excellent welcome on arrival from Maggie behind the counter. Course was in excellent condition, fairways cut nicely and greens running fast and true. Well worth a visit.
