Tight course in places with some blind tee shots. Favours accuracy over length. Superb greens, tricky borrows. Some excellent holes with greens tucked into the sand dunes. Course planner is a worthwhile buy.

Ashburnham copes with the wet extremely well but for the first time in many visits there was standing water on fairways. The greens as always were absolutely superb. This is an out and back course so no previews of holes as you play. Challenging but fair course . The staff are extremely welcoming but some members can be less than welcoming. The carvery meal and choice of desserts are to die for. This is a regular venue for our society.

Played this course as heard good things, what a let down! A lot of poor holes, fairways in a very poor state full of bare earth patches, bunkers the worst have come across no sand and full of earth.
Holes poorly sign posted to next tee, was ok for cheap deal at £15 but not worth any more than that. Very average links course compared to p and k, southerdown, porthcawl or even swansea bay.

This course is outstanding. Although we had sustain rain over a period you could have played in carpet slippers.

A true links course that challenges you throughout. If you want an affordable top class course this is for you. Quick true greens, fairways with bumps and hollows.Comparable with Porthcawl but at a much lower price

Initially uninspiring but one soon learns why this course is so highly rated. Some absolutely wonderful individual holes and a great sense of achievement if you score well on them.
