Greens in good condition but slow from previous days rain. Course very quiet. Most enjoyable day

Good value for money
Good course for the cost - will visit again.I'd recommend having buggies to hire as its a very hilly course - a really good workout!

Good value for money
The most amazing views, great cost only ?10. Also good price for membership as far cheaper than other golf clubs. For saying it is council run it is a fantastic place. Only thing is the greens are a little bumpy, and slow.Reviewer Rating

This is one of those courses that is run by the council with little thought for the golfer needs, that said the course was ok and in good condition, what lets this course down is the lack of facilities such as bar restaurant etc.

EXCELLENT COURSE FOR THE PRICE (?15) ON A WEEKEND.
STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND INFORMAL.
COURSE ITSELF IS NOT LONG BUT CHALLENGING, ESPECIALLY 3 OR 4 OF THE PAR THREES.
GREENS WERE IN REASONABLE CONDITION FOR THE TIME OF YEAR.
THIS IS A HILLY COURSE, AND I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED PLAYING HERE, LOOK FORWARD TO MY NEXT VISIT.

Good local course
Fir the money they charge it's a bargain and picturesque place to be honest. Not ideal will the dog walkers that can be a pain, but other than that it's spot on!Reviewer Rating

Enjoyable
For the money this is great. Always seems to be in decent condition. Not a long course but you certainly know you've walked it with all the hills. It is by no means easy, greens up on banks, and two par 3 certainly require the correct shot or suffer a big score. But plently off holes can be rewarding with a good tee shot. The only thing I dislike about this course is the 8th hole, second shot to the green normally means waiting for the 18th tee box to be clear. Apart from this little niggle it is a fantastic course to play.Reviewer Rating

Great value golf
Only a tenner gets you a good round of golf.Tees fairways and greens in very good condition.Clubhouse very friendly and welcoming.Nothing to say against the golf club at all(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 80 Handicap: 16)

Enjoyable Golf
Played in a two ball on Saturday morning. Weather excellent and course in good condition. Pace of play good as not many players on the course before 9am. Clubhouse staff very welcoming. Good basic food after the round.Reviewer Rating
