Played yesterday - course is in great condition with excellent greens. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife on the course and beautiful views of Pendle. Warm welcome in clubhouse and great steak pie.

Played course several times , challenging course with fast greens , made even faster now they are using a turf iron . A great test for all golfers. Staff friendly and helpful, just like other clubs there is a dress code which is sensible and not too strict. Very enjoyable , give it a try.j

The green staff always seem to present the course in immaculate condition, especially the greens which are fast and true. For us older types the course does not leave you feeling like you have climbed a mountain, the catering at Accrington is second to none. Highly Recommended!

I am a member at Accrington and have been for a number of years. I have also played at lots of other golf clubs. When comparing Accrington with others l have not found any green better than ours one or two as good but not better. The greens at Accrington are harder to putt on simply because of the contours this makes it a challenge for any visitor. You also need to put the ball in the right place on the fairway in order to open up the greens on some of the holes. I have never thought of joining another golf club because Accrington is challenging and the members are friendly.

Played this course two weeks ago and really enjoyed it, greens had a good pace and were true. I play off 10 but shot 2 over my handicap and i played ok so it can be a challenging track. All the staff I bumped into were very friendly and got some good tips. Nice club house.

Good course always a challenge. Greens surprisingly quick, a shame still on winter rules for fairways because course was very dry.

Played here twice in 2008. First time the day's weather was awefully wet but the course stayed dry!!! At one point we all sheltered under the tree's and watched the water cascade off the green and through the bunker. Half an hour later you wouldn't have known it had been raining judging by the greens. Our society we're given a free round because of the conditions which we used in October. Dry day this time and the greens were still imaculate. I found it a pleasant course with some challenging holes and unusual ones (blind greens etc) but not too difficult so as to spoil your day.
