What the club says: Established in 1896 at Belmount, the Club has occupied its present site since 1928 and is the second oldest 9-hole course in the East Lancashire Golf Association.

Although an easy walking parkland course at 6404 yards in length, our course is the longest in East Lancashire. Our long holes will test out your driving and long-iron play and our par-three holes will not give you too much respite from the need for precision play and accuracy as we have a number of strategically placed bunkers awaiting the errant shot.

Fantastic 9 hole test , played with society today and was made very welcome , the members and staff all could not do enough. Course was well looked after and yard markers/hazards all made clear , bunkers and the course on a whole stood up well to the heavy rain the night before. Greens roll decently and for the price charged , cannot complain. This course will test your long irons and not always a case of driver from the tee.

Nice little track

Played here for first time on a tot offer. Limited practice facilities, no pro shop. Friendly clubhouse and members. Nice 9 hole parkland course with 3 longish par 3s. Quite wet when I played it (but where isn't in Lancashire at the moment). Fairly flat walk. Worth a round if in the area.

Some long holes to test your driving. The rough can be tricky so best be straight. Being only 9 holes can result in waiting a bit on busy days, Very good value at just £15 per round. A flat course so an easy walk. Definately woth a try.
