What The Club Says
A 12 hole course some with different tees for the back and front 9. Our clubhouse boasts some excellent practice area facilities which are on one side of the M65, the course is only a short stroll to the other side of the bridge.
Rishton Golf Club offers a very fair test of golf. The first is a lovely hole, a dog leg right with the second shot over water to an elevated green, a real good start. The last needs a good drive to a fairly narrow landing area, then a lofted second over a tree filled ditch with a stream at the bottom of it making this a very difficult finish.

Wonderful little gem of a course!
Rishton Golf Club is a very unassuming little club. No pro-shop or fancy clubhouse, just a good old fashioned club bar and an absolutely fantastic course. The layout is excellent and challenging but the condition of the course is the star of the show. I've played here twice in the last few weeks (late May/early June) whilst the weather hasn't been great, but the course is in immaculate shape despite this. It would put most courses to shame, especially at the price (we paid ?8 for 18 holes).Reviewer Rating

Peach of a course.
What's striking about this course is not only the views of east Lancashire but it's overall condition the fairways are in top nick and the greens are some of the best I've played in the UK. The only gripe I would have with the course is the order you play the 4th & 13th I would switch it round to avoid the unnecessary walk to the par 5 on the back nine. The 9/17th is one of the hardest holes I have played and one bad shot will ruin a round. All in all a fantastic little course.Reviewer Rating
