What the club says: The club was founded in 1913 and is set in rolling hillside on the Hyndburn-Rossendale boundary. Baxenden boasts a 9 hole course to be proud of. It offers a challenge to golfers of all abilities and is an excellent choice for parties or the single golfer alike. The competition length is 5734 yards, SSS 68, with a par of 70.

Surprisingly good

superb course, free for service personnel, good to see people giving back to those protecting the country, well maintained and great welcome, will be back over and over

a nine hole course set up on the hills never played before which is surprising due to the locality a pleasing day out with the weather on our side for me more of and try things out day with concentrating on my lads day
