One of the best challenges in the Midlands. some lovelty views on back 9 from tes on 13 and 14. groundstaff do an awesome job. greens undergoing work today (where they make the mini holes and put sand in) but headgreenkeeper still makes the effort to check they are running OK with you ......proper customer service!(Round played: Sep 2015 - Score: 84 Handicap: 18.2)

The course is in really good condition, lush and the fairways and greens are firming up alot so beware. Apart from the par 73 at Henley this is one of the longesy courses i have played and significantly harder than any i have played this year. Strategically placed (well i say placed - positioned!) oak trees play havoc wiht your fairway shots on 3rd, 4th, 12th, 13th and 17th so there are many tests as long with the 6 holes featuring water. well done to Craig and his groundstaff! take the summer off chaps - oh not until you finished that fountain by the first tee! really is a great course......one of the best challenges in the midlands. OMG i would hate to play this course from the tips as it is a test enough from the yellows. conditions are sensational comapared to the miseable january we had last year with all the rain. the course is really in good nick. i have played this course more than a hundred times. best ever was an 85 (when everything went according to plan)... but don;t be fooled just when you think you have the course by the scruff of the neck it turns and bites! Fantastic condition. Greens are true. This is without doubt one of the best courses. tough and interesting every hole. A Must play. £15 and the best value memebership I found in the south/west midlands(Round played: Aug 2014 - Score: 92 Handicap: 16.9)

I played the same day as the previous reviewer, yes the course was busy as it was the members captain\'s charity day and I think there were also a lot of Golf groups from the hotel. Peak price to play this course is £35. The price on teeofftimes on this particular afternoon was £14! Course is superb condition and helpful pro Shop staff warned us about how busy it was.. The driving range there is the best around. We took our time and enjoyed our round. At 14 quid, great value as the pro said, the slower round was reflected in the price. Sounds like the high handicap previous reviewer wanted great fast Golf at municipal prices! We will definitely be back.

Played here several times & Course in good condition considering weather in UK.
Sometimes get held up with slow play & long walks to some holes between tees but other than that no complaints.
Staff are great & facilities tremendous.
