Played in a customer day and the course was great but the rough very tough greens were as always superb

Having played many modern courses and local golf courses I cannot believe the comments from the gentleman who said its everything that is wrong with modern design. The eclectic mix of styles , the risk and reward element , the challenging par 3\\\\\\\'s. This course sets apart what golf should be , I played in a corporate golf day there today and was surprised when I was allowed to walk through with my golf shoes, I was allowed to use my mobile and even wear jeans for\\\\The evening meal which was fantastic by the way! \\\\Would strongly recommend this golf\\\\Course to anyone who wants to play proper golf and think about every shot. The course is in fantastic condition and the greens were really quick. Would def recommend it

Played the course on 24/5/2016. Generally in great condition with the greens very good. I try to make regular visits to the Shire as I love the layout of 3\'s 4\'s and 5\'s. The holes are varied in character without a weak one in the 18 all have their own challenge. Welcoming staff and great value. Only criticism is the range which has mats not turf

Played on a charity day, excellent course which played really well even though it has been wet. Club house is so relaxed which is a total contrast to many clubs that can only wish to have a course as good as this. How golf clubs should be to attract new players.
