Haga Ryder cup singles
Course is a good challenge for all standards of golfer. The greens were true but not fast. Down side are the 8th and 9th as they are adjacent to the mail access road and the traffic doesn't seem to respect the golfers.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: )

Bit of a disaapointment overall
This has been on my hit list to play for ages.So while expectations were high, it was a shame to have an overall disappointing experience.
The course was generally in good condition and was fun to play, however the greens were a little inconsistent in pace.
The pace of play was slow and frustrating that this wasn't managed on course.
The service experience off the cost was below par. The pro-shop experience on arriving at the course was good, however the club seems to be set-up fo the hotel guests at the Marriot hotel. There was no readily accessible breakfast service for day guests. We had to find' or way to the 'Zest' restaurant in the hotel.
After having played, the lunch offer was average at best, with insufficient staff to manage the numbers coming off the course in a timely manner.
Glad to have the Tee-shirt, but we wont be rushing back.

Historic Course, St Pierre......
Firstly, the weather was 'sweltering'. Senior Open at this once European Tour course, still in superb condition with some fabulous holes and great views. Excellent senior crowd including locals, made to feel welcome at reception, teeing off and 19th hole. The course was in good condition, if a little dry (bounce and run on fairways excessive and difficult to control). Greens where well watered soft and true, putting was a pleasure. Great overall experience, having made sure I carried lots of replacement fluids!.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 94 Handicap: )

Golf Resort
Played at St Pierre three times during a golf break. The Old course is the better of the two courses and consists of 18 interesting and challenging holes. The greens were in excellent condition in spite of frequent rain. Friendly starters and Pro Shop staff.I did find the pace of play variable - managing just 8 holes in 2 1/2 hours in the first round, giving up as we needed to check in and meet our evening dinner reservation! For this round, the pace was good until we caught up with three fourballs which lead to inevitable waiting.
The 18th was a stand out hole for me, 236 yards par 3 over water, fortunately with a strong helping wind.

The course was in great condition, the greens were quick, a couple of weed-type spots were bare but they mostly ran true. Some of the holes are absolutely stunning, the 15th and 17th in particular.
We played off the yellows behind and in front of some match play rounds, we were played through twice which was good, although the members behind us didn't seem too chuffed that as visitors we'd been squeezed in!
Only gripe was that there were no nets to warm up, and the range was expensive (£5 for 50 balls).
All in all worth playing, especially for the £20 we paid! It would get boggy in winter though by the looks of things, keep that in mind.

Course was in reasonable condition considering weather and time of year. Unable to use electric trolley which hindered my game but understandable due to conditions.
