The layout is fantastic. It's a great test of golf, and it's in really good condition. The length and variety of the holes is really impressive, and it's reputation is well deserved. It's playable in all conditions, which is great.

We played both the Old Course and Mathern Course and found both to be enjoyable and well worth visiting. The old course particularly is very picturesque. Sadly our play on the Old Course was interrupted by a torrential downpour and some of the greens became waterlogged although I believe by the following day the water had soaked away.

Has to be up there in my Top 5
Just gorgeous, some of the holes were a joy to play. The 18th is a monster par 3, but such a pleasure to play(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 98 Handicap: 24.1)

Ok
Ok course yo many trees ???? in your way even after a great shot and to busy a 5 hour round is not good(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 103 Handicap: 16.7)

Brilliant weekend break at a lovely hotel
The St Pierre is a great weekend golf break. Very reasonably priced with 2 good courses, spa facilities, 2 good restaurants and a nice bar/terrace. The old course is challenging, and the 2nd course is nice to play as well. My only complaint would be that there were temp winter tees out on the old course even though the weather was fine. That didn't effect the round really though and in terms of value for money the weekend was excellent.Reviewer Rating

What an experience
Super venue with much history given it used to be a tour event in the days of Nick Faldo, Seve etc.. Tough course but fair for most golfers with a spectacular par 3 final hole, I used my driver to get close. Service is great we enjoyed our day.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 15.7)
