It is what it is, good for the money but it needs a pro shop and somewhere to eat and drink.

However a nice place to play if you take food and drink.

Good value though

This was a good course for a fair price - it was in decent condition. I liked it

good 9 hole course, very muddy but would make for a great 9 holes after work in the summer months

Nice 9 hole course, good variation of holes

First round of 2018. It was wet but the greens were in very good condition. Some had lots of pitch marks on, but other than that they were in good condition given the time of year. Fairways were very wet with the ball plugging on regular occasions, but I suppose that is winter golf for you! Played very well. I really love the challenge of the 5th. A short par 4 if you cut the corner, but make sure your commit to the tee shot otherwise there is a host of trouble. The 8th is a great par 3 over water. Plenty of green to hit. They always seems to stick the hole at the front, but my advice is to go long as to many times have I seen guys go for the pin at the front and then come up short and ended up in the water. Not much to say about the hut that takes your cash at the start. They really could do something great with this course. I have heard they might be adding a hotel in due course, but I have heard this for year. Good to be able to get on early on a Saturday as not a member elsewhere, so worth a trip if you live nearby.

They let a 6 ball out, which was odd, but they all seemed like good players and moved round the course quickly. I like the fact the course let them do that. More courses should try and be more flexible with things like that.

Excellent course condition in Winter

This is a really really enjoyable 9-hole course. The condition of it was exceptional for late January. The greens were excellent, the fairways very tidy and clearly defined. It's got some nice undulations that add character to the holes, but not hilly.

But if you want a fancy clubhouse, nice shop and drinks at a well-stocked bar then this isn't for you!

It's quite an easy course, not short, but it's fun to feel like you can attack and aim for flags!

Would highly recommend.

Mid-handicapper

This is a great little course for: someone that is just starting out in the game, for a bit of practise (that's more interesting than the range), or for a bit of a hack about with mates that are not regular players. It's pretty well maintained, and doesn't claim to be something it's not. I can't see why some reviewers are disappointed because the club doesn't make any false claims about their facilities!

played nine holes as part of a deal. nice course in good condition. consistent greens were nice with some tricky holes with water involved. not sure 18 would be that interesting just off slightly longer/shorter tees.
