Course in great nick. Massively improved in last 3-4 years. 3rd greatly improved but I will say that got a lucky eagle .Our 4 ball really enjoyed the day and great pint n pie in happy relaxed atmosphere . Will be back and recommend .

Improving.
Positives, course has improved a lot under new owner, done a lot of work so far. Negatives, over dressed If you wear golf attire, bare chested golfers, Jeans, tee-shirts, football shorts seems the norm at this club. A lot of pitch marks, repaired myself 30 plus. We had a good day on the coarse.play was slow.looked forward to a pint and something to eat.there was no food at all.lager was ok.overall enjoyed the day

I would just like to leave this review, I have recently played Kirkby Valley for the first time in 6 years and I am so overwhelmed by the outstanding changes and improvements, clearly shows this course is on the up to a higher standard. Very enjoyable game, would recommend to anyone.Reviewer Rating

Course was in magnificent condition . Greens are fastest I’ve ever played on . Good to see a few small lakes appeared from nowhere and in very strategic positions . Bunker on back of 1st makes u play the hole short, pond on 2nd and3rd have made nothing holes magnificent . Will be joining next year when my membership runs out on a very expensive private course . every time we (2-16 handicaps 1-20 handicap) play this course (4 times) we only played to the 10th because of the back log of golfers a group on the green - a group on the fairway and group on the tee and that is the 1st tee------- Its all about the MONEY

Good nick
Well worth a visit. If you haven't played Kirkby in quite a while you will be pleasantly surprised how far this course has come in the last few years, and it still isn't finished. Most of the major work has been done, just few more jobs and this will be a very nice course.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 11.4)
