Like all golfers who have lost a match playing what can only be described as the worst round of your life; you can't get the ball off the tee, your ball is equipped with a guidance system to find every hazard on the course and you couldn’t read a putt if your life depended on it! you walk off the 18th green thinking if only I had another chance, with the League to Dubai you have 3 chances.

Mini League Format
The new stableford mini League format came to us after discussing a matchplay event we had lost after both playing like we had never held a golf club in our lives and we were so frustrated that we were out at the first hurdle and not done ourselves justice!!.
As sportsmen we looked at golf and other sports particularly football and the Champions League and looked at how we could devise a way of giving the best opportunity for each golfer to perform to their best whilst making sure the best player still progressed through to the regional final. We believe we have achieved this providing a mini league format where the golfers play 2 “home” and 2 “away” fixtures.
Fixtures are organised over April to August between the players with each fixture given 4 weeks to be completed. To enter all you need is a CONGU active handicap and be able to register a home venue.
Leagues are organised locally to ensure travelling is minimised, however where there is more than one golfer from the same club we will endeavour to keep them apart as we want golfers to experience playing at new courses and new people. We also want golfers to be able to share there golfing experiences and give the competition a social side so when you enter we provide each golfer with a pass to the locker room here you can meet the golfers from your league arrange your fixtures and share your course information whilst keeping an eye on how your competitors are doing!!.
3 Regional Finals
League winners will progress to 3 area finals across the country. This year we have teamed up with the DeVere group and working with them we have selected 3 excellent courses located around the country which are; the beautiful Carrick course on Loch Lomond in Scotland, the historic setting of Oulton Hall on the outskirts of Leeds with its David Thomas designed parkland course and Wokefield Park near Reading which offers a challenging 7000 yard US PGA standard championship course boasting 9 lakes providing a range of challenges.
Each of these venues will produce 3 finalists in the singles and 2 pairs to compete in the Final league in Dubai.
League to Dubai Final
Working with our partners in Dubai we have put together what can only be described as a fantastic and unique opportunity.
The final will take place at the Emirates Golf Club on the Majlis course home of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic over 3 rounds in November just before the season ending Race to Dubai at the Earth course.
As well as the 3 rounds all participants will experience one round on the fully floodlight 9 hole course at Dubai Creek, Bed and Breakfast accommodation at the Radisson Blu Media City Hotel with all flights and transfers included.
With an entry fee of £30.00 for the Singles and £60.00 for the pairs we believe our competition offers not only a fantastic player experience but also value for money. All of which is “approved by the R&A for payment of expenses Rule 4-2g RA/15/2012”

The League to Dubai Team have between them over 30 years of Sport Development and Event Management, combined with 15 years of international business experience mixed that with a passion and a love of playing golf to bring a new and exciting competition that allows you to have a poor round, gives you the opportunity to put that right, show your true ability, progress through to the regional finals and ultimately take your place in the finals in Dubai.
As keen and passionate golfers ourselves we know you will enjoy the competition. We wish you well in the league and look forward to seeing you on the flight to Dubai.
