The spectacular golfing destination has undertaken a range of course works including a complete renovation of all of the bunkers on the course and the tee boxes are gradually being upgraded, further enhancing the dramatic par-72 golf course designed by respected architect Luigi Rota Caremoli.

Opened in 1989, the layout - characterised by tight fairways, thrilling elevation changes and unforgettable views of the Sicilian countryside - is the oldest on the Mediterranean’s largest island. The course, which hosted four events on the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 1995, ’96, ’97 and 2011 in addition to the Sicilian Seniors Open in 2010, is complemented by a dedicated driving range, two chipping and bunker areas and a putting green where players can hone their skills before a round.

The golf experience is enriched by Picciolo Etna Golf Resort & Spa joining the Hilton portfolio as part of the Curio Collection by Hilton brand following extensive renovations. The clubhouse features six rooms and a welcoming outdoor terrace, while the Il Palmento restaurant is the perfect spot for lunch with à la carte Sicilian specialities such as Pasta alla Norma and Caponata.
