Chart Hills And London Golf Club Reveal New Stay And Play Package

By: Golfshake Editor | Thu 13 Apr 2023

Joining forces, Chart Hills Golf Club and London Golf Club have unveiled a new championship stay and play golf package that will benefit golfers who want to experience these two superb inland courses in Kent.

Available to book now, golfers will be able to make reservations for The Kent Golf Experience from May 1st right through the summer and autumn. This premium package includes 18 holes of first-class golf on both the Sir Nick Faldo Championship Course at Chart Hills and the International Jack Nicklaus Course at London Golf Club, in addition to an overnight stay at The Three Chimneys Country Pub in Frittenden, Kent.

This exciting new offering will allow golfers to experience two famous English courses as part of one unique package. Chart Hills Golf Club, former European Tour Q-School venue, has recently undergone a total property renovation, and the result is a picturesque, yet challenging layout that is presented in immaculate championship condition year-round. Meanwhile, recent European Tour (DP World Tour) host venue, London Golf Club, has been a fixture of British professional golf since it opened in the mid-90s, and the International Course is widely revered for its challenging layout, impressive conditioning, and spectacular water features.

Anthony Tarchetti, General Manager of Chart Hills Golf Club, said: “We’re delighted to be teaming up with London Golf Club to invite golfers to visit the heart of Kent and experience our fantastic venues. At Chart Hills, we are proud to offer one of the very best golf experiences in the southeast of England, and we can’t wait to welcome golfers from around the country and further afield to our fairways.”

Almost two years ago, Chart Hills Golf Club completed a total fairway renovation project that lasted more than 12 months. Since Ramac Holdings Ltd acquired the club in 2019, the team has been working tirelessly to extensively redevelop and improve all aspects of the 250-acre property.

Chart Hills

Originally designed by Sir Nick Faldo in 1993 - a design that was not altered during the renovation - the par-72 course features dramatically undulating fairways, one of the longest bunkers in European golf (The Anaconda), numerous water features including an island green par-3, and complex greens that present a challenge to all levels of golfer. Sir Nick Faldo himself said that he would “never tire of playing Chart Hills.”

Ben Stimson, Director of Golf at the London Golf Club, added: “We are delighted to work in collaboration with Chart Hills to showcase Golf in Kent as a desirable golfing destination. The Kent Golf Experience package will enable domestic and international golfers the opportunity to stay and play at our prestigious venues.”

The International Course is undoubtedly one of the finest downland courses in Europe. Fast, undulating fairways allow you to chase the ball into position. The course is punctuated with exciting risk and reward tee shots over water that really get the heart pumping. Host of the 2018 and 2019 Staysure PGA Seniors Championship, The International recently hosted both the Volvo World Match Play and Regional Open Qualifying.

The new package will also include an overnight bed-and-breakfast stay at The Three Chimneys Country Pub and Freehouse in Frittenden, which is located less than 10 minutes by car from Chart Hills Golf Club.

The Kent Golf Experience package is available to book from April 1st, with reservations being taken for bookings from May 1st onwards. Package prices will start from £299 per adult, and golfers should contact [email protected] to submit their booking enquiry.
