ECCO GOLF Presents New 2023 Footwear Collections

ECCO GOLF is ready for the summer season after making several exciting additions to its range, including an updated BIOM H4 Collection, a new look S-THREE Collection, the introduction of the Women's BIOM C4, and its brand new CLASSIC HYBRID.

Not only will the SS23 collection bring new colourways for BIOM H4, but the pioneering brand has also partially redesigned the shoe for the new season.

The shoe features a reworked upper, notably around the toe area, to produce a sleeker, slimmer look, whilst the tongue has been completely redesigned to produce a more ergonomic shape that fits more comfortably to the foot.

There are six brand-new men’s colourways in the SS23 collection, featuring Black, Concrete, and White/Air in the standard lace option, and White/Retro Blue, White/Frosty Gravel, and Magnet/Forest Green in the BOA Performance Fit system.

The new collection similarly features six stylish colourways for women, with the standard lace option offering the choice of Marine/Night Sky, White/Air, and Delicacy/Shadow White, alongside White/Concrete, Black/Magnet, and Violet Ice/Delicacy in the BOA Performance Fit design.

BIOM H4 continues to feature the BIOM 2.0 last which offers a modern, updated look and feel combined with BIOM NATURAL MOTION Technology that enables the foot to move naturally, close to the ground, and forms like a second skin around the foot.

Powered by state-of-the-art motion technologies, the pioneering ECCO MTN GRIP outsole includes three sections to provide the ideal blend of traction, stability, and rotational support, while ECCO FLUIDFORM Direct Comfort Technology ensures a finely-tuned balance of cushioning and rebound to deliver dynamic comfort.

Wrapping around the foot from the outsole to the midsole, the shoe features X-TENSA technology, which connects the T.PU element on the side of BIOM H4 with the lace system to enhance lateral stability while adding to the contemporary, premium design.

The shoe’s uppers are crafted from premium, durable, and thin ECCO Performance Leather, made in ECCO’s own tanneries, providing natural protection from wind and water. This is enhanced with 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX technology that keeps feet dry and comfortable in all conditions.

The hugely successful shoe has undergone a transition as part of the SS23 collection, with the model benefitting from an innovative redesign. This includes an updated upper which provides premium comfort in a sleek aesthetic. Additionally, the S-THREE now features an updated tongue that is thinner, lighter, and more fitted to the wearer’s foot.

S-THREE will be available in a host of different options for SS23, and features a total of 13 colourways across the men’s and women’s collections. Additionally, both the men’s and women’s ranges will feature the BOA Fit lacing system, which provides the wearer with hassle free lacing at the tips of their fingers.

The latest breakthrough in direct injection innovation, ZONAL FLUIDFORM TECHNOLOGY creates a moulded midsole with three distinct zones of softness to ensure the right balance of cushioning and stability exactly where it’s needed.

The heel of the midsole is engineered for medium softness to ensure the right amount of cushioning and comfort, while the central part of the midsole has higher levels of rigidity to deliver outstanding lateral stability throughout the swing. The forefront of the midsole comes with the highest level of softness for exceptional walking comfort.

ZONAL FLUIDFORM is a ground-breaking technology for ECCO GOLF and the shoe industry as a whole. Due to the advanced multi section injection process, the midsole of every pair of S-THREE shoes will have exclusive features and unique colour transitions between the different sections. This gives each pair of shoes a distinctive look, perfect for golfers who enjoy an individual style.

The shoe’s uppers are crafted from thicker ECCO SOFT performance leather, made in ECCO’s own tanneries, with 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX technology that keeps feet dry and comfortable in all conditions.

A double layer of neoprene in the collar and heel provides increased padding for additional wearing comfort throughout the swing. In the midsole, the S-THREE features X-TENSA invisible technology, which is designed as an internal reinforcement system that connects the midsole to the lace section of the shoe - giving the wearer extra stability around the middle of the foot.

The award-winning ECCO DYNAMIC TRACTION SYSTEM (E-DTS) outsole design provides more than 100 traction bars and 800 traction angles for excellent grip in all playing conditions.

The S-THREE men’s collection is available in Black/Concrete, White/Black/Air, Retro Blue/White/Marine, Concrete/Retro Blue, White/Blue Depths/Bright White, Marine/Morillo, and White/Carribean/Concrete. The women’s collection features White/Dusty Blue/Air, Delicacy/Blush, Marine/Hibiscus/Night Sky, Straw/White/Bright White, Dusty Blue/Air, and White/Delicacy.

The model offers unrivalled 360-degree breathability, allowing golfers to stay cool and comfortable throughout their round. The shoe’s innovative comfort properties ensure a finely-tuned balance of cushioning, rebound, waterproofing and air-flow.

For the SS23 collection, the ECCO BIOM C4 will be available with both BOA and standard lacing options for men, and in the standard lacing option for women. The men’s collection features one new colourway; Magnet, whilst the women’s collection will feature four brand new styles: White, Marine, Delicacy, and Straw.

What’s more, ECCO GOLF's most advanced technologies are used in this latest iteration of the BIOM story; an updated BIOM last offers optimum support and superior control, while the T.PU posts on the outside add stability, and ECCO BIOM NATURAL MOTION technology enables the foot to move naturally and close to the ground.

The ECCO BIOM C4 has a GORE-TEX SURROUND construction, which is combined with an ECCO EXHAUST GRID that scoops fresh air towards the sole of the foot. The progressive ECCO MTN GRIP outsole has three different sections providing traction, stability, and rotational support.

The model also features ECCO FLUIDFORM Direct Comfort Technology; a ‘state change’ process that uses specialised fluid materials to form around an anatomical last, ensuring cushioning and rebound, while also creating a flexible and durable bond without the compromises common with stitched or glued assemblies.

Crafted from ECCO Performance Leather, the ECCO BIOM C4 also comes with a super-stretchy mesh sock that offers golfers unparalleled comfort, while the low-to-the-ground sole structure provides a natural position for the foot and excellent ground responsiveness, encouraging motion and offering stability and control.

CLASSIC HYBRID

The new design is crafted using a classic silhouette of what is an iconic ECCO style, and uses the brand’s ultra-successful ‘dress shoe’ last, that has been a feature of ECCO’s shoes for decades.

The new CLASSIC HYBRID offers a premium look and feel, with an upper fashioned from rich and embossed ECCO leather, a soft leather lining, and a leather-covered OrthoLite insole.

The CLASSIC HYBRID features HYDROMAX water-repellent technology and a welt made with 52% recycled leather fibres. For grip and comfort in all playing conditions, the CLASSIC HYBRID is set on the award-winning original E-DTS TWIST system, which has enlarged and rotated support bars that improve durability and multi-directional traction.

Adding to the shoe’s innovative comfort properties, ECCO FLUIDFORM Direct Comfort Technology ensures a finely-tuned balance of cushioning and rebound that creates an integral and durable bond without the compromises common with stitched and/or glued assemblies. As such, despite its traditional look, the CLASSIC HYBRID still provides the wearer with a lightweight, flexible feel.
