Ryder Cup Stars Attempt 1930s Style Hickory Golf Challenge

By: Golfshake Editor | Tue 06 Sep 2016

To celebrate 70 years of the Omega European Masters in Switzerland, Masters champion Danny Willett, Ryder Cup legend Lee Westwood and 21-time European Tour winner Miguel Angel Jimenez took part in a unique two-hole exhibition alongside 2013 Hickory World Golf champion Paolo Quirici. And they were playing on his terms, with clubs and gear dating back to the 1930s.

Good fun was had by all at Crans-sur-Sierre, and it was an enjoyable throwback to a different era of golf.
