Played this course winter times when my local course was closed due to heavy rain....! It did not feel like winter at all playing this beautiful course. Did not have to clean my shoes after the round. Fairways and greens in excellent conditions! Well done and keep up the great work. Will definitely play here again soon!!!!

Winter Gem
In recent months have played several courses which most have been extremely muddy due to the recent weather making some parts of courses unplayable. Then there is Cranham, the drainage along with conditions of course is second to none you would hardly know the weather had been so bad. The course is fairly straightforward with reasonably short holes and in my opinion is a great course to play if a high handicap looking to improve. The winter fees are fairly reasonable to. The only down side is there are no practice facilities.Reviewer Rating

Excellent course,
Excellent course, facilities have greatly improved, sadly no catering facility open on the Bank Holiday Monday, but very enjoyable.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 27.1)

Course was in good condition. Greens had been spiked but did not really affect the putting. The fairways were good. The sand in the bunkers were good.

Great Little Course
Such a great little course, low par score but loads of challenging holes with plenty of hazards. The island green on the 18th is something to behold. Very good value for money as well, no wonder it gets so busy especially at the weekend.Reviewer Rating

Always good
We played here sat 30th march and the course is in really good condition.The fairways were all cut to a good length and the greens,WoW,was they fast,almost super fast.I will probably start to use this place even more now now they have started to serve hot food,i had a lovely hot bacon roll and a coffee,yum.Also i dont know how anyone can say its unplayable in the winter,they never have temp greens or teein off mats.Its probably one of the only courses you can play in the winter in essex.Reviewer Rating

Excellent course greens in amazing condition all year round. looking forward to the club house being expanded and maybe some practice areas. Great price and a great round for short game practice
