Great Layout&Challenge.
If you want a true test of golf then this is it. Visually great course of the high tees and every hole Enjoyable. Course is very much improving under the new ownership and the work that's ongoing. A must play course at a very reasonable price and very good membership rates. Give it a try.Reviewer Rating

Excellent course
Played it today after what's been a heavy week for rain and i was well impressed with the dry fairways , clear signage was appreciated also. Played it about 6 months ago and its definitely improved a lot, the surrounding woods have had a lot of work done to them and it shaping up to be a fantastic course. No boring holes, each one poses its own challenge with quite a few water hazards to watch out for. Friendly staff and good value for money. Ill be back.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course

Course number 81 for me this year -and I have to say excellent course but a bit of a beast. Front nine totally secluded on the hole you were playing -heavily wooded - some real bum twitching drives over water. Back nine more open but nowhere for me to score -not being a bit hitter -six holes in a row 420 yards plus including 2 par 4s at 444 and 472 yards respectively. Previous comments have mentioned the signage -well there are really good signposts now to each hole. Its a cracking layout , greens and fairways in very good nick - my only complaint is that its too hard unless you are big hitter or a single handicapper. Must be a nightmare for the novice. Thank goodness I wasnt playing off whites - Id leave the whites but shorten the course a bit from the yellows.

Played this today and it was the first days on full summer tees. They have done some excellent work over the winter and it shows. The tees were nicely cut, the greens had been cut that morning and a nice shape to the fairways. It was set up pretty long but a great challenge at a great price

Superb course, don't know why people complain about needing oxygen, it's pretty flat, but long, every hole has its own character, great test of golf , better signs needed to direct you to some tees, which apparently are being sorted, look forward to chance to play there again, highly recommended

I played here once last year but on returning last week I was pleasantly surprised. The course is in great shape now. Fairways and greens both looking great. Staff were very helpful. The clubhouse is acceptable. I note a review earlier said no pro shop but they have a huge golf shop at the driving range. Definitely will be returning as course is really improving now.

All the golfers who posted negative views of he course need to return and play again\The course has new owners who have put a lot of money into the course incl new machinery \The greens are now fantastic and the rest of the course is in the process of improvement for 2016
