Go in Summer
In two minds with this review. I would say if you are not someone who plays all year and wants a knock in the summer give it a go. It’s good value for money. If you are looking for a winter venue or want to play all year round I would say cross this one off your list. It is a course that will be on temporary greens when all others are on a full course. I have played it in beautiful winter sunshine, with no mud and shirt sleeves and it has been on 17/18 winter greens. Better options in the area for all year golf which is a shame.Reviewer Rating

Pleasant surprise
Played Berrington a few times in the past and the course was ok First time in a couple of years and it's improved a lot. Still difficult but the condition was very giid..Reviewer Rating

Exceptional value for money
I have been a regular visitor at Berrington Hall got a few years, the course this weekend is the best I have played it.The work carried out over the last few years has really come to fruition.
The course is in fantastic condition and the greens are so true and still getting quicker.
The practice area is now complete and the club house has been refurbished.
Exceptional value and a real golf test.

Great course
Played here today and couldn’t believe how good the course was ! Fairways lush and greens really really nice , some tee boxes really hard but understandable considering the dry weather we have had , definitely will be back soon and for £25 what value we’ll better than all the courses around the area !!Reviewer Rating

Played this course on the 26th of June in a Society Event for the 2nd Year. Everyone was well looked after by this friendly Club. Greens have really come on and the rest of the course is really improving. Society already booked for next year ????

The Course was very Dry needs water on tee boxes and greens, Bunkers full of stones and so are the tee boxes, no worth £30

Played here a few times and recently joined as a member.The lay out has always been decent and the course is improving week on week.I would definitely recommend trying the place out.

Won’t rush back
Bad greens, simple as. Apparently £30 at weekends, there’s many course in the area cheaper with much better greens than this. Bobbly, bare, patchy. Loads of new tees but the greens need urgent attention. Totally dry and not watered at allReviewer Rating

Poor greens
Played here a couple of times last year and again this week. Having played a few other courses in the local area I thought the greens would be on a par. They weren’t. The greens were very dry, hard and dusty with patches. The rest of the course is good with some good looking new tees. Love the course but these greens are way off where they should beReviewer Rating

Nice round in very good weather. Course still in early days of season but showing signs of promise. Tee boxes looking in good condition for start of the season, and fairways firm. Greens were a bit bobbly and had some moss, however they'd recently been tined and sanded so expect with some water and more growing they'll come good soon. Although i only went in one, the bunkers are very poor; lots of stones and little sand, also many of them simply aren't in play which is is very odd.
