Liked the course decent layout and greens running true. Not the best views but for proximity and value ideal for me. Stay out the rough

BE AWARE - Ronnie in the previous review referred to this course as the municipal course in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. He is wrong. Torrance HOUSE is in South Lanarkshire, this course- Torrance PARK is in North Lanarkshire. This course isn't too bad but not as pretty as Torrance House (East Kilbride). Torrance Park has a lot of unsightly trucks, pylons, yards etc visible from too many holes to allow this course to rate as highly as Torrance House.

Played this a few times now and it is only getting better. Tee’s are in good shape and the fairways for the most part are in good condition, a few fairways are getting drainage put in and the ditches are still open but I can forgive this as it’s only improving the course and they never really came into play anyway as we were driving over them. A few of the bunkers could do with some more attention, some could do with some more sand and a few look like they have been forgotten about and need to be tidied up. The greens are in fabulous condition considering the hot dry weather we have had. The only weak point of this course is the lack of a club house

The club is in early stages and there is no clubhouse (a portakabin in the car park). The course has the potential to be really good. The thickness of the rough make it a really challenging course

Played the course for the first time yesterday, had been looking to play this course for some time as i want to join a club and play more often and the weather has been really wet lately so a dry sunny spell was the ideal opportunity.
The £10 green fee was a bonus, and despite the new club house still not in use this didn't matter overly. Cards got we marched to the tee and played, then the second (?),then the third (???), then we were lost, yip lost!!! There are NO hole numbers on any tee boxes or flags but the occasional sign saying "next tee this way" - WHAT FLAMING TEE !!!. We even waited on other players coming behind to ask, the bloke who was a member was helpful and a tad bemused as we looked at my card he declared these were the new cards for the forthcoming revised to be layout and sympathetic to our lost plight. In my opinion very poor aka NO advice from the managemen, or office starter of this. It certainly made me think if this was where my joining subs would be heading, not for now guys. On the course itself, the tee areas were good, greens very good and fast, bunkers most with plenty of sand, rough as it should be, features are there, paths fine, fairways below an expected level. More work looks to taking place, and is required, may be back but not this year sorry Torrance Park the £549 subs remains for now in my pocket.

Decent Layout, but has serious drainidge problems and is basically a municipal course. The putting surface looked ok, but was very mossy. The place badly needs new facilities with no clubhouse.

I played here 3 years ago and thought the layout of the course was okay but very wet on the day so when my friend informed me about the work done on drainage we returned with high hopes which were quickly crushed as 75% of the course was under water and still no sign of any amenities like the clubhouse advertised on this website.......we actually walked off and went to strathclyde park 9hole course which was easily in better condition and a fraction of the cost, I will never return to torrance park and think the best thing they can do is scrap the golf course and open it as a waterpark!!!
