I played here 3 years ago and thought the layout of the course was okay but very wet on the day so when my friend informed me about the work done on drainage we returned with high hopes which were quickly crushed as 75% of the course was under water and still no sign of any amenities like the clubhouse advertised on this website.......we actually walked off and went to strathclyde park 9hole course which was easily in better condition and a fraction of the cost, I will never return to torrance park and think the best thing they can do is scrap the golf course and open it as a waterpark!!!

I recently played Torrance Park and despite the terrible weather we have had I have to admit to being very surprised by the quality of the course.

Being a high handicapper (18) I look for courses that are a good test without being cruel, and Torrance Park is that. The fairways are wide enough to provide some trouble should you stray into the rough, the bunkers are well placed and protect the pins well. The greens were in excellent order despite the bad weather and pin positions were tricky.

Surprised to learn the course is so young, it certainly didnt give you that feeling when you were out there, felt well established and settled.

No clubhouse facility as yet, but a local brewers fayre provided a welcome drink after the round.

I was certainly impressed enough to return in better weather.

Fellow golfers I just want to bring something to your attention if you are thinking of playing here it is horrible a boggy moss for fairways and you need sat nav to find your way around the course 4 wheel drive is also a must if you want to use the parking facilities. Next to the shed/clubhouse! What a joke! Don\'t waste your money

This so called golf course should be charged under the Trades descriptions act!!! Where's the clubhouse with food and changing facilities as advertised ? The course itself is a piece of waste land in a run down industrial area definitely one to avoid!

Played the course through a group on deal where it worked out at a fiver a head for 4 us to play and still was not value for money in my opinion. I expected a lot more after reading the course website. Was very disappointed when we arrived on what looked more like an industrial estate than a golf course. The facilities and services are non existent with only a very small porta cabin for a pro shop, they didn’t even have score cards for us to use! The condition of the course itself was pretty horrendous the tees and greens are definitely not built to USGA specifications as it states on their website, probably the worst greens I have ever putted on. With quite a few blind holes you would at least expect some marker poles to be on the fairways and there also seemed to be a lack of yardage markers. Lesson learned fork out an extra 10 or 20 pounds and go play somewhere else.

Played the course on Saturday 7th September 13 on a typical summers day(all weathers!),its a great challenge and offers more variation than most courses in the area ,into the wind and rain and in the sun we both thoroughly enjoyed the course ,only one area of casual water after a night of torrential rain would suggest the drainage is improving, course condition was excellent, tricky greens made for roller coaster putting but added to our enjoyment ,now we know what to expect next time! , a few more Next Tee signs would be nice for 1st time players .Having read some indifferent reviews i would discount them and give the course a try for yourself ,i know we shall return!

Played this a few times now and it is only getting better. Tee’s are in good shape and the fairways for the most part are in good condition, a few fairways are getting drainage put in and the ditches are still open but I can forgive this as it’s only improving the course and they never really came into play anyway as we were driving over them. A few of the bunkers could do with some more attention, some could do with some more sand and a few look like they have been forgotten about and need to be tidied up. The greens are in fabulous condition considering the hot dry weather we have had. The only weak point of this course is the lack of a club house

I played this course after finding it online and was horrified at what i found, the t boxes are uneven and very small, the fairways were at times non existant due to drainage work which was on nearly every hole the course is very hard to navigate, there is an old portacabin for a club house with no area for changing or socialising and the greens are not USGA spec they are ok but would never merit such a prestegiouse award but the thing which annoyed me the most was the starter who neglected to tell me any of this information when i called and refused me a refund when i complained about false advertised of facilities and the course in general i would caution fellow golfers before venturing here as i am sure you will feal as i did when i left....... Ripped Off !

The Course It\'self Is Very Challenging Fairways Are New So They Still Need Time To Bed In. The Tees Are In Excellant Conditions And The Greens Are Imaculate Up To USPGA Standard. The Rough Is Punishing And They Have Some Really Tough Holes In To The Wind That Make Some Holes Very Accessable. They Have A Good Couple Of Left To Righters Doglegs And Some Great Wee Par3\'s. The Course Is Always Busy Youi See The GreenStaff Out Working No Matter What The Weather And They Are Constantly Up Dating and Puting in New Drainage The Course Will Be One Of The Best In Lanarkshire In A Couple Of Years Time It Has Great Potential. Just Now 8/10 Once It Has The Clubhouse And The Facilities 10/10

The club is in early stages and there is no clubhouse (a portakabin in the car park). The course has the potential to be really good. The thickness of the rough make it a really challenging course
