The course was excellant, really enjoyed it. Good shots were rewarded and bad ones punished but not too serverly. It was however very very wet from the previous days rain fall and there were tempory greens in use on 6 holes. This is understandable and they still played well. Every hole offered something different it the shop were very helpful. An early bird bargain as well. Just a shame the weather wasn't better. I will certainly try and play the course again in better conditions but credit to the green staff for just getting the course open.

As ever, great condition! Play this course every week and it gets better as the year progresses. The greens were far better than the other courses we played that week which took some beating.

I took a friend who is a member of the other local course. He was very impressed with the greens compared to his course.

Having been a member at another local course, Lansil, I opted to change to Heysham for the improved facilities and the corporate membership options.
The venue itself is great and my and my playing partner were both welcomed into the club and now have many new friends and occasional playing buddies.
There is no snobbery although the members do obey the dress code and have exceptional conduct whilst out on the course.
Ryan Done, the pro, has knocked 10+ shots off my game since I joined and I am now more addicted to golf than ever before.

Great course
Overall this is a great course but seriously challenging unless you're a big hitter. I played in calm conditions and still found it long.Reviewer Rating
