Good winter nick and a cracking course.
Good dry condition after another wet winter. 6 temps which were of the usual temp bobbly quality, but with bigger holes to fire at. 16 mats/forward tees. Overall though considering the weather we have had I was very impressed.£12.50 on a tee time deal was a bargain.
Cracking layout with enough undulations to make it interesting without being a tough walk. Good mix of some very long opar 4's and risk/reward par 5's, plus a couple of lovelt par 3's.
I aim to come back in the summer and see it in all it's glory.

Good enjoyable day here. Was still a bit wet in places but very playable. Some great holes (the par 5's on the back 9 spring to mind) and a good test.

Great course

Heysham is one of the top golf courses in the Lancaster and Morecambe area, if not the best. There is a great mix of short and long par 4's as well as some excellent par 3's and 5's. The greens ran true and they were quick which is all a golfer can ask for from greens really. The staff in the clubhouse and pro shop were very accommodating from the moment we stepped foot inside.Reviewer Rating

First time at Heysham and a great parkland course. Well laid out with some outstanding views. Will definitely be making a return visit.

In all honesty, didn't realise that there was a golf course in Heysham and when I found out, wasn't expecting much. I am a total convert, the course was excellent and the members extremely friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend playing a round here so it is a good strong test of your ability, I was found lacking!
