The course was excellant, really enjoyed it. Good shots were rewarded and bad ones punished but not too serverly. It was however very very wet from the previous days rain fall and there were tempory greens in use on 6 holes. This is understandable and they still played well. Every hole offered something different it the shop were very helpful. An early bird bargain as well. Just a shame the weather wasn't better. I will certainly try and play the course again in better conditions but credit to the green staff for just getting the course open.

A Fantastic Day
A brilliant venue for the start of our annual Antrobus GC trip. A fabulous welcome from the secretary and an equally warm welcome from all members of the team and golf club members. The course was in superb condition, the fairways were a joy to play off and the greens rolled superbly. We had a meal at the club after catered by Pubgrubz, fresh and plentiful home cooked food. Nice course, worth playing
Have played Heysham a couple of times before, always friendly welcome. God food, practice facilities, well stocked pro shop. Parkland course which is fairly flat, in great condition despite the rain. Greens true and suspect would be fairly quick when dry. Not the most scenic course around but some pretty looking holes, some long par 4s. November and course was excellent
Fantastic course for the time of year (November) only ?10 for 18 holes .no winter tees or greens and it was simply fabulous. Nice welcome from the young lad in the pro shop. Gave us some information about the course and said have a great round. After we came back in he asked us what we thought and if we had a good time.
