nice course a bit more open than the Avening, greens were very good and fairly quick.
again a very dry course at the moment with not much rough but plenty of trees and walls etc to block you out if your not in position.

Very nice course, better of the 2 courses IMHO
Greens had been hollow-tined but still ok to putt on.
course was very dry so lots of run and bounces.

These are two lovely courses, neither of which is especially easy from the white tees. I preferred the Avening course simply for the nicer veiws, but there's not a lot of difference between the two courses. The Avening has more of a parkland feel to it.
Despite the horrible winter thus far, the greens on the Cherington were very good. I imagine that given some decent weather that they be exceptional. The Avening greens weren't quite as good, but they had recently been worked on.

My game stunk but the course was in great condition. This course just had something that the Cherington didn't

Great course but played after the rough had been cut down making it every forgiving producing winning scores of 42 points. Would like to go back and play it in its prime. Lovely clubhouse, great food and service was good. nice practice facilities

Lovely well maintained course
Well maintained course on rolling downs; good variety of holes, more water on back nine; rough is good challenge in places and course rewards accuracy. not cheap, but fair value. Great bar and food.Reviewer Rating

Open week
Played the cherington in an open comp (end of July) fantastic condition. Greens , aprons were superb, true premium feel.Nice welcome in clubhouse, very smart throughout.

Beautifully presented parkland challenge
The Avening course was in flawless condition and the back nine really made you think about where you put the ball off the tee. Will definitely play again.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 19)

Great Course
Had a fantastic day out there with the BAGS society. Course was in great shape. Greens were tricky, but very smooth and true, just how they should be. Would definitely play there again. Thoroughly recommend.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 89 Handicap: 23)

Great course,best in the area and only 21 pound after 4pm.usually a lot more peak time, loads of bunkers for the better golfer to nagotiate(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 101 Handicap: 25.9)
