first visit this year to near home golf course
The course was in reasonable condition considering the recent dry spell. It represents good value for money without many inspiring holes. It is a fair test of golf.The attached bar restaurant is a good option afterwards.Reviewer Rating

This Course is great value and tho not the best it is enjoyable to play. Standards are always there to be improved but you get what you pay for I suppose. I have liked it every time iv been here...although it does get very boggy in the Winter.

Played 18 holes. Good condition for this time of year. No winter greens . But winter tees. Will definitely play again. Great value for money

The course was in good condition . Fairways grass a little long due no doubt to very dry weather over past 2/3 weeks. Greens very good. The course has some excellent holes and some not so good. Bunkers were in excellent condition. Overall an enjoyable experience at a great price.

Peaceful setting worth visiting
Very basic pro shop but friendly welcome.Fairways and greens are looking very good, unfortunately when I played the greens where very wet so you goes had to hit and hope a lot of the time, but if dry I would expect the greens to be running true and tricky.
Club house has everything you would want from a golf club.
Only a 35 min drive from Leeds and easy to find.

Nice flat course
Course very flat. But do not be deceived as it is also long. Few straight forward holes (please ignore my score). 2nd hole is a beauty!!!. Far superior to the course over the road nowadays and is coming along nicely with the upkeep and maintenance. Would recommendReviewer Rating

First visit to Thornhurst Park
Despite living locally and being a regular golfer I had never played Thornhurst Park before. I had tales of woe about winter golf so stayed well away. My regular mates were away this week so played with a neighbour and was very pleasantly surprised. The course was in good condition and the greens excellent despite the upturned saucer effect on lots of them . I will certainly be visiting agai and the twilight rates Weare very reasonable.. We ate in the restaurant afterwards and the food good but a tad expensive.Reviewer Rating

Society day
The club house does not open until 09.00 so if u r out early don’t expect a hot drink r a bacon butty But when we did get in the breakfast was very good the course was ok to say it was soakingReviewer Rating

This course is VERY well looked after! The fairways are wide open and the scenery is great. It's a flat course, but it can be challenging. It's usually quiet.

much improved course
Can see after todays visit that a lot of work has been done to this course... greens in excellent condition. Fairways and semi rough well maintained and plenty of sand in the bunkers. Would highly recommend. Nice and flat for any golfers with mobility issues. A few nice/tricky holes on it. Well done to all the staff involved with its upkeep (inc. shop and 19th hole). South Yorks good'en
long holes for a short hitterlots to think about as you plot your way around
